IAT Welcomes Meaghan Singletary

We are very proud to welcome Meaghan Singletary as our newest board member!

Meaghan was born and raised in Trenton, and now lives in the Mill Hill neighborhood. She works as a project manager at Isles, Inc. focusing on designing, planning and implementing creative ways to activate vacant lots and public spaces to attract residents to use them for safe, healthy, and social activities. Meaghan co-owns the Out of Step Offbeat Boutique & General Store in the Trenton Farmers Market. She has also worked at the Trenton Downtown Association, where she led a number of revitalization efforts including the Levitt AMP Trenton Music Series.

"Representation matters," Meghan says. "My wishes are to see underrepresented communities, especially the Black and Latinx communities that contribute so much to what makes Trenton what it is, supported, uplifted, represented, given the resources to strengthen and strive, and truly be treated as the majority demographic that make up the vibrancy that is referenced when people speak about Trenton."
