Empowered Voices
The project goal is to engage youth in a multi-day series focused on public speaking and community building. The series will center voices from the Old Trenton Neighborhood that gave rise to social and political leaders of Trenton. This contextual history will provide a bridge to the importance of empowered voices today.
El objetivo del proyecto es involucrar a los jóvenes durante varios días centrados en hablar en público y construir comunidades. La serie se centrará en las voces del barrio Viejo Trenton (Old Trenton) que dio origen a los líderes sociales y políticos de Trenton. Esta historia contextual proporcionará un puente hacia la importancia de las voces empoderadas en la actualidad.
