BCR is a collaborative sound, visual and tactile project designed by a collaborative of Trenton-based artists, through which each week artists and activists will co-curate and broadcast a playlist; host a workshop addressing issues impacting Trenton such as gentrification, displacement, and keeping wealth in the community; and design new and creative ways to think about art and change for their community. "Being raised in a low income city, drawing was a past time, dancing was for fun, and rapping or singing a dream. Anything pertaining to the arts was a luxury, never a thing to take serious enough to live off of or heal a broken community - [but] the members of BCR have seen how a place full of beautiful people who carry dark traumas can value one another." BCR es un proyecto colaborativo de sonido, visual y táctil diseñado por un colectivo de artistas residente de Trenton, a través del cual cada semana los artistas y activistas co-curaran y transmitirán una lista de reproducción, organizarán talleres abordando temas que impactan a Trenton como la gentrificación, el desplazamiento y el mantenimiento de la riqueza en la comunidad, y diseñarán nuevas y creativas formas de pensar sobre el arte y el cambio para su comunidad.
