GED, History, and Civics Program

(2015 Round 1 - Spring) Support to VAST, a local vocational and GED training program, to create a satellite location at the Carver Center for their existing program, providing 20+ neighborhood residents with vocational skills in addition to GED training. Participants received historical education about the Battles of Trenton and African Americans' role in them, and contributed to the upkeep of the D&R Canal in the neighborhood through the vocational program on an ongoing basis.

(2015 Ronda 1 - Primavera) Apoyo a VAST, un programa local de capacitación vocacional y de preparación para el GED, para crear una ubicación satélite en el Centro Carver para su programa existente, brindando habilidades vocacionales a más de 20 residentes del vecindario además de la preparación para el GED. Los participantes recibieron educación histórica sobre las Batallas de Trenton y el papel de los afroamericanos en ellas, y contribuyeron al mantenimiento del Canal D&R en el vecindario a través del programa vocacional de forma continua.
