ABOUT DEMOND
A native of Trenton, Demond’s love for art began at the age of 2 and consumed a major portion of his time as he grew older. After graduating from high school, he attended the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia to study commercial art and marketing, where he learned to appreciate colors and the effect they have on people. Since then, Jazz art has been his main focus. His works are being supported and sold by the Trenton Community A-TEAM, one of I Am Trenton’s 2016 grantees. Demond says, “I had the pleasure to work with my friend Susan Darley as my curator at the A-TEAM. Despite my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2007, my mind is still open and free to create as it pleases.” See more of Demond’s work on Instagram – @DivineTreeUrban.
