NEW: Old Trenton Arts and Community Grants!

We’re very excited to release the Old Trenton Arts & Community Grants Program in partnership with Isles on January 2. Grants support community projects and public art in the Old Trenton neighborhood (Hanover-Academy, see map below).

Check back on January 2 for the full instructions – and mark your calendars for the workshops:
  • Ideas workshop on January 11, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Orchid House, 134 E. Hanover St. (Attendance is optional)
  • Mandatory technical workshops on January 13 at 1:00 PM and January 17 at 6:30 PM, both in the Community Room of the Trenton Free Public Library, 120 Academy St. (Attendance is mandatory for ONE of the technical workshops.)

The Old Trenton Neighborhood Arts & Community grant program supports grassroots revitalization and creative projects in the Old Trenton neighborhood. I Am Trenton and Isles, Inc. partnered for this grant round that supports projects physically located inside the Old Trenton neighborhood. The Old Trenton neighborhood corresponds approximately to the “Hanover-Academy” section in city maps, and is bordered by North Broad Street, Perry Street, Route 1, and East State Street. The application will be released on January 2, so make sure to check back then to apply. We look forward to seeing your wonderful ideas!
